Latino Family Literacy Project (2016 - 2017)
The Latino Family Literacy Project workshops combine parenting and leadership skills that empower parents to become vital contributors to their children’s academic success. The eight workshops are presented by each school’s own trained facilitator team multiple times year-round, in multiple languages, creating a sustainable cadre of parent leaders. Initial leadership training of both school staff and volunteer parents will be held November 8, 2016 (Visalia) and November 10, 2016 (Fresno).
