KCUSD and our school sites communicate with families in a variety of ways. In addition to traditional communication options such as telephone calls and printed documents, we use ParentSquare and Peachjar.

ParentSquare and Peachjar

These two digital communication platforms offers a two-way communication service between KCUSD, our schools and families. Peachjar offers a digital flyer service that delivers messages from community partners to families via email. To learn more about both services, please click on the School to Home or Community to Home tabs below.

Powerschool

Parents and/or guardians of 6th - 12th grade students may access student information, including grades and attendance status, using the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Please visit our Powerschool page for more information.

Marquees

The KCUSD Educational Support Center and nearly all school sites have marquee boards. Check out your school's marquee board for important information.

School to Home

School to Home

KCUSD uses ParentSquare as our primary mode of communication between the district, schools, teachers, and our parents. Parents can receive messages via text, phone call, email, through the ParentSquare app, or a combination of any of the four options.

Each parent in KCUSD should receive messages through ParentSquare.

Community to Home

From time to time, community organizations provide information that is meaningful and may be of interest to our students and families. Peachjar is a digital flyer service that delivers information via email from our community partners. All messages are reviewed by district administration prior to being sent to our families.
